Casa Lucia on Corfu Opens and Puts Health First
The Casa Lucia, a hospitality complex consting of restored traditional cottages on the island of Corfu, has reopened to offer safe holidays to Greek and international travelers.
Certified with the Health First label, Casa Lucia operates in accordance with the measures announced by the Greek government to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
Casa Lucia’s staff has been trained to follow the COVID-19 health protocols; all rooms and public areas are thoroughly cleaned and disinfencted; an action plan is available in case a suspected COVID-19 incident occurs; a doctor is available on call; antiseptic dispensers have been placed for guests in all areas; and social distancing measures are maintained in all public spaces.
Since 1981, Casa Lucia has been the holiday option of many Greek and international travelers, families, individuals and groups of friends with many repeat visitors among them.
The buildings, some dating from Venetian times, were carefully restored and converted into guest houses. The thick stone walls, clay tile roofs and inner stone arches have been retained and highlighted.
Each cottage has been equipped with care to offer comfort to its guests.
Casa Lucia is located in the village of Sgombou, half way between Corfu town and Paleokastritsa.
I have been back on Corfu for two days now. The rumour is that the hospital is full of Covid cases and that no other illnesses are being treated but theA&E is taking patients. Is this true or just a nasty tale being put about?
