Covid-19: Where Face Masks Must be Worn in Greece
The Greek government recently made it compulsory for all to wear face masks in super markets to limit the spread of the coronavirus (Covid-19) and to avoid a possible second wave.
However, the super market is not the only indoor space where it is mandatory to wear face masks in Greece. It is also mandatory to wear face masks:
– in public transport (buses, trolleys, trains, metro)
– in taxis
– in hospitals
– in the doctor’s offices
– in medical centers
– in beauty salons
– on ships
– on planes
Those who do not wear a face mask in the above spaces, will be required to pay a fine of 150 euros.
Face masks have no science behind ut to demonstrate its protection capabilities. Quite the contrary. Studies a very few in fact has demonstrated that masks are irrelevant on disease contagion. So its a hoax and a mean of subservience not safety.
What I do when I’m around people who don’t wear masks where compulsory? …( I wear a mask always when it’s compulsory! ) I simply do some fake coughing, I look around and say “that’s why we should do what our government tell us to with respect for others”! They’ve steered us in the right direction so far!!! True or not true?!!!!! I’m sure I get through and make a point!!! A bit harsh but covid19 is MUCH HARSHER!
Greeks aren’t very good at taking orders………best to wear them where advised though, as tourists.
just concentrate on You, then let others do what they do.
I have just been in the Supermarket across the road and no one other than the staff and us were wearing one. How can you possibly police this on the Islands? There were at least a dozen people in there without one.
