Athens Marriott Hotel Puts Health and Safety First
The Athens Marriott Hotel, an upscale hospitality property located in the Greek capital, has reopened and is aiming to offer unique hospitality experiences to its guests.
The hotel is putting health and safety at the core of its hospitality services by implementing a specially designed operation plan in all its areas, following specific guidelines against COVID-19, that focuses on safety without compromising quality.
“Our safety guidelines focus on quality, the unparalleled style and hospitality experience that only Athens Marriott can offer. High aesthetics, artistic mood, anthropocentric philosophy and excellent service are the non-negotiable values that characterize the Athens Marriott Hotel. The safety of our guests is our highest priority,” the hotel said in an announcement.
Since the start of the pandemic and before the announcement of mandatory measures by Greek authorities, the group has undertaken all the necessary precautions to ensure the health of its employees and visitors. Today, it continues to implement a comprehensive action plan in accordance with government policies as well as the guidelines set by Greece’s National Public Health Organization (EODY), the Hellenic Food Authority (EFET) and the World Health Organization.
The action plan involves the hotel’s employees taking a molecular test, which will be repeated on a frequent basis.
Athens Marriott will constantly update its policy to include the latest guidelines in line with new scientific data. The hotel is also prepared to develop new operating protocols, where necessary, to address all issues that may arise, while it will continue to train its staff accordingly.
Athens Marriott is located near the Athenian Riviera, overlooking the Acropolis, the Lycabettus hill and the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center.
The hotel is a member of the Chandris Group and Marriott International.
