The Grand Hyatt Athens hotel has reopened its doors to provide its guests with a safe hospitality experience near the center of the Greek capital.

The hotel has implemented all the necessary health protocols announced by Greek authorities to ensure the safety of its guests and staff against the COVID-19 pandemic.

Furthermore, under the motto “Safety First – Wellbeing Always”, the hotel has adopted Hyatt’s Global Care & Cleanliness Commitment that builds on the group’s existing rigorous safety and cleanliness protocols, and includes:

  • The increased cleaning and sanitization frequency of high-touched surfaces and high-traffic guest and colleague areas, and enhanced cleaning protocols for guestrooms,
  • Hand hygiene and social distancing rules,
  • Masks and other personal protective equipment are available for colleagues and guests,
  • Enhanced food safety and hygiene protocols for restaurants, room service, and group meetings and events.

“We’re committed to offer an enhanced level of cleanliness to ensure our guests’ safety and wellbeing,” said Grand Hyatt Athens General Manager Costas Papachristoforou.

Located on Syngrou avenue, the five-star Grand Hyatt Athens combines dramatic architecture with innovative design. The hotel offers the ultimate hospitality experience in Athens, also connecting the cultural modern city center with the Athenian Riviera.
