Air France Connects Paris with Thessaloniki, Mykonos and Santorini this Summer

Air France’s summer 2020 schedule will include flights to Thessaloniki, Mykonos and Santorini from Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport, the airline announced on Thursday.

The flights to the Greek islands will operate in July and August, following the launch of the Paris – Athens and Paris – Heraklion routes on June 13 and 27, respectively.

Air France will offer a total of 17 weekly flights between Athens and Paris and one weekly flight between Heraklion and Paris.

Regarding the new routes, flights to Thessaloniki will take place three times per week between July 13 and August 24. The route to Mykonos will be twice a week and will run from July 15 to August 24, while Santorini will be served by one flight for the same period.

In line with French instructions, Air France will be asking all customers to wear face masks throughout their journey.

To ensure the highest level of health and safety, the airline will progressively implement temperature checks on departure from all its flights. These systematic checks will be carried out with contactless infrared thermometers.

Air France also implements physical distancing on board where possible, has reinforced its daily aircraft cleaning procedures and introduced a specific procedure for disinfecting aircraft.

In addition, the airline informs that the air in its cabin is renewed every 3 minutes. The air recycling system on board Air France aircraft is equipped with “High Efficiency Particulate Air” or HEPA filters, identical to those used in hospital operating theatres.
