Be My Guest Athens Hotel Ready to Open on June 5
Be My Guest, a boutique hotel located in the area of Thissio in Athens, has announced its reopening as of June 5, following a light refurbishment of its rooms and public areas.
The hotel remained closed during the COVID-19 lockdown and management proceeded with changes and upgrades to its facilities: all rooms, doors and public spaces were repainted; and plexiglass dividers were placed at the front desk and between tables in the breakfast area.
Management has announced that guests can now also have breakfast on the roof garden, as furniture and decoration has been modified as well. The breakfast menu has been upgraded with the contribution of renowned chef Anna-Maria Barouh.
Furthermore, the hotel has disinfected all areas as a precaution measure against COVID-19, and applied the government’s measures for the operation of hotels:
- Check-in and check-out is quick and effective, with no crowding expected at any time of the day,
- During the hotel’s renovation in 2017, the management installed independent air-conditioning units in each room, instead of a central system that recycles air, and potentially increases the risk of a coronavirus infection,
- Be my Guest has been rated with 9.6/10 by OTAs for its cleanliness,
- The hotel’s staff has been trained accordingly to follow the health protocols of the post-COVID-19 era.
The central location of Be My Guest also allows guests to avoid public transportation and just walk around the city’s landmark sites such as the Acropolis and the Acropolis Museum, Thisio and Plaka.
“Be My Guest staff is ready to welcome guests again with a big smile,” the hotel’s management said.
The hotel offers rooms, suites, a cozy roof garden with views to Athens Observatory and side views to the Acropolis. It includes 7 double rooms, 5 triple rooms and 2 one-bedroom apartments (family suites) that can host up to 4 guests.
