Greece to Accept International Flights Only at Athens Airport Until June 30
The Hellenic Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) on Saturday extended a notice to airmen (NOTAM) that permits all international flights to Greece to land only at Athens International Airport (AIA), as part of the country’s preventive measures against Covid-19.
According to the revised NOTAM, all international flights will be permitted to land only at AIA until Tuesday, June 30 (the previous date was May 31). The NOTAM adds that international flights to other airports in Greece are suspended.
International flights are expected to be permitted to other Greek airports as of July 1, as announced recently by the government.
Moreover, the NOTAM said the flight ban for seven countries (Italy, Spain, the United Kingdom, The Netherlands, Albania, Northern Macedonia and Turkey) continues as previously announced.
It is reminded that Greece’s measure of mandatory 14-day quarantine for passengers (of all nationalities) arriving by air, from all international destinations, has been extended until May 31.
Greece’s borders continue to remain temporarily closed to non-EU nationals until May 31.
Man liest immer von den Flügen, was ist mit den Fähren Italien-Griechenland?
Was ist mit der Anreise über Land?
What testing or checking will be in place for those Driving or taking a Ferry into mainland Greece or the islands e.g.Crete?

does anybody know if the compulsory 14-day home quarantine for people from Germany arriving at Athens airport will be lifted after May 31, 2020?
My holidays till then are over.. bye bye 2020.. 🙁
