Greek Marinas Association Supports Remote Learning Programs for Students
The Greek Marinas Association (GMA) recently announced that it will donate 165 tablet computers to the Greek Education Ministry, aiming to enhance the remote learning programs that are running following the coronavirus pandemic.
Secondary school pupils in Greece recently started participating in live remote learning programs, while most high school students are also attending online classes with their teachers.
The ministry has also launched an online remote learning platform for primary school pupils.
“Education is one of the sectors mostly affected by the coronavirus pandemic. The GMA will donate 165 tablets for the ministry to distribute to schools around Greece. The aim is to achieve the effective digital operation of schools and educational courses,” the association said.
The GMA was established in 2010 with the goal to change and improve the operation and exploitation of tourist ports and marinas throughout the country. Today, it consists of 21 developed marinas.
