Divani Hotels Donates €100,000 to Support Covid-19 Response in Greece
The Divani Hotels Group is supporting Greece’s healthcare system and the people affected by the coronavirus pandemic by donating 100,000 euros.
“We are confronted with an unprecedented challenge… The Divani Hotels Group has the moral obligation to support the national healthcare system (known in Greece as ESY) and is offering 100,000 euros that will be used, in collaboration with the relevant state authorities, for medical equipment, supplies and services,” said the group’s CEO Spyros Divanis.
In 2018, the Divani Hotels celebrated 60 years in Greece’s tourism industry. It is considered one of the leading Greek groups of the hospitality industry, operating hotels in popular destinations including Athens, Meteora, Larissa and Corfu.
In 2019, the group joined the Global Hotel Alliance (GHA) – a leading international alliance of more than 550 independent hotels in 75 countries worldwide – looking to further improve and promote its hospitality services and experiences.
