‘Be My Guest’ Brand Expands in Athens Short-term Rental Property Market
Greek company NIMARIS IKE is expanding its activity in Athens’ short-term rental market after first opening the “Be My Guest” boutique hotel in the Greek capital’s Thissio district in 2017.
In just a year from the hotel’s opening, NIMARIS – owned by Nikos Anthrakidis and Maria Papageorgiou – entered the short-term rental market, renovating and adapting properties under the “Be My Guest” brand.
“Our high quality properties are located in key areas around the Acropolis, such as Thisio, Koukaki, Syngrou-Fix and Ano Petralona,” Anthrakidis told GTP Headlines.
NIMARIS recently added three renovated apartments to its “Be My Guest” short-term rental property portfolio, bringing the total number of properties to seven.
The new apartments are located in the Thissio district and meet the “Be My Guest” brand standards in terms of quality, cleanliness, decor and guest experience, while they are considered ideal mainly for families.

Referring to the “Be My Guest” boutique hotel in Thissio, Anthrakidis noted that in almost three years since its opening, the hotel has become a magnet for residents of Northern Greece.
“This may be perhaps becuase of our northern Greek background,” Anthrakidis said, adding that the hotel is frequented by personalities from the fields of politics, sports and art, due to its key location.
“They also prefer the Be My Guest hotel because we take care of our guests and offer warmth and tranquility combined with a minimal decor and very friendly service,” he said.
From April to October, most of the hotel’s guests are from abroad due to its close proximity to the Acropolis.
“They prefer the hotels due to its location, which is ideal for sightseeing and visiting many archaeological sites in the capital,” Anthrakidis said.
The “Be My Guest” boutique hotel is promising a very lively summer as many events have been scheduled to take place at its roof garden.
