Celestyal Wins at Cruise Excellence Awards for Best Itinerary in 2019

Celestyal Cruises was honored for its “3 Continents” cruise itinerary at the Cruise Excellence Awards 2019 gala that took place recently at the Rosalia de Castro Theatre in A Coruña.

In its 13th year, the Excellence Cruise Awards are decided by the votes of national cruise passengers and travel agencies. The event is a brand of CruisesNews Media Group, organiser of the International Cruise Summit in Madrid and editor of CruisesNews magazine.

Celestyal Cruises was awarded in the “Best Itinerary” category for its 7-day “3 Continents” cruise in 2019, which offered an itinerary focused on the Eastern Mediterranean, visiting Rhodes and other Greek destinations and also Egypt, Israel and Cyprus.

The Cruise Excellence Awards 2019 gala brought together the chief executives of cruise ship companies, as well as cruise tour operators, consignees, ports and destinations, travel agents, collaborators, professionals, business managers and other suppliers of the cruise industry, as well as professionals from A Coruña and the Community of Galicia.

During the lively evening, which was hosted by the humourist and showman, Mr. Corrales, and included a performance of aerial acrobatics, a number of award winners were announced such as Barcelona Port (Best Spanish Port 2019), MSC Cruises (Best Popular Cruise Line 2019 and Best Consumer Brand Recognition 2019), Royal Caribbean (Best Entertainment Onboard 2019) and Celebrity Cruises (Best Gastronomy Experience 2019).

Celestyal Cruises’ main ports of call are the Greek Islands and the Eastern Mediterranean. The company currently operates two mid-sized ships offering warm hospitality and personalized services.
