The Travelife certification is an internationally recognized award scheme for hotels and other tourism-related businesses, which have attained high standards of environmental management and social responsibility.
A member of the H Hotels Collection group, Princess Andriana Resort & Spa features 537 deluxe rooms and suites combining sleek design and top-notch amenities.
Travelife rewards the gold award after having assessed a resort’s ability to manage its socio-economic and environmental impact, based on 163 criteria including energy and water consumption, and waste management.
“Three H Hotels currently hold the Travelife Gold certification, confirming the group’s commitment to society and the environment under the umbrella of its ‘Travel with Care’ program,” H Hotels said in an announcement.
The Princess Andriana Resort & Spa is located next to Kiotari beach, and includes a state-of-the-art-spa and a number of restaurants and bars.
Established in 1993, the Hotel Collection group is a family-owned company consisting of six hotels, offering a total of 2,150 rooms on Rhodes.
The group’s Rodos Princess Beach Hotel and Princess Sun Hotel recently received ISO certifications along with Princess Andriana Resort & Spa and Boutique 5 Hotel & Spa. These include the ISO 9001 for the adoption of quality management systems, the ISO 22000 for food safety management and the ISO 14001 for environmental management.
