Saudia Connects Athens to Jeddah and Riyadh in Summer 2020
Saudia Airlines has announced its seasonal flight schedule for Athens for the summer 2020 season, which includes flights to both Jeddah and Riyadh in Saudi Arabia.
Saudia re-entered the Greek market last year, following an 11-year absence, this way further strengthening the relations between Saudia Arabia and Greece.
The Saudi flag carrier currently operates four direct flights a week from Athens International Airport (AIA) to Jeddah every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.
Flights to Jeddah and Riyadh
From June 10 until August 29, Saudia will offer travelers the choice between Jeddah and Riyadh by directly connecting Athens with the two cities, through a twice-weekly service. The Athens – Jeddah route will run every Monday and Friday and Athens- Riyadh service will operate every Wednesday and Saturday.
“We are very happy to offer flights to Athens from both Jeddah and Riyadh this summer. Passengers traveling from Athens will benefit from the airline’s dense network to destinations not connected directly to the Greek capital,” Fahad A. Almuhaysin, Saudia Airlines Manager in Italy and Greece, told GTP Headlines.
All flights will depart from Athens at 15:15 local time on an Airbus A320 aircraft, which offers full-flat bed in Business class.
The four weekly Athens – Jeddah flights will resume on August 31 until October 24.
