During his visit to OTM 2020, Minister Theocharis will attend scheduled meetings with India’s tourism minister, Pradhan Singh Patel, leading tour operators and tourism bodies of the market of India.
“The significance of the tourism minister’s trip to India lies in the fact that this country is of great interest to Greece, as the peoples of both countries have deep cultural roots and common historical references,” the tourism ministry said in the announcement.
The minister will also go to Bollywood, where the Indian Hindi-language film industry is located.
