Workathlon in Techstars Accelerator Program for Startups in Abu Dhabi

Greek hospitality recruiting platform Workathlon has been selected, among thousands of applicants, to be one of the top 10 startups from around the world to participate in this year’s Techstars Accelerator | Hub71 project, which will take place at Hub71 in Abu Dhabi, during January 27 – April 20.

A leading US acceleration program for startups, Techstars offers three months of coaching, pitching and growth-hacking by leading mentors and partners.

Workathlon will participate in the project with nine other startups from various countries such as the United Kingdom, China, the United Arab Emirates, Canada and the US. Their activity covers a wide range of the technology sector: From biotechnology and healthcare to business software.

Techstars’ goal is to assist the 10 startups in their efforts to reach their full potential, grow rapidly, become champions in their industry, and attract the interest of the participating investors.

According to an announcement, Workathlon is the second Greek company to participate in Techstars.

Established in 2015, the recruiting platform uses technology to offer solutions focused on managing hiring and outsourcing for hotels, restaurants, cruise ships and yachts.

“Our participation in Techstars is a wide recognition of the innovation Workathlon has introduced in hospitality recruiting. The accumulated value of the companies that have gone through the accelerator is estimated at $25 billion,” the company said.
