Emirates: ‘No Limits On Fun’ for Kids On Board

Emirates , one of the world’s fastest growing airlines, gives extra care to the little and young travelers that it accommodates, being committed to a ‘no limits on fun’ policy on board.

“There’s a number of reasons you can ‘switch off’ when travelling with your family,” says Emirates.

Fun on board

Little adventurers share their journey with furry friends from around the world: Brett the bear, Mia the manta ray, ChaoChao the alligator and Savannah the elephant. Young explorers also delve into a retro, travel-themed bag or lunch cooler filled with educational books, exclusively designed for Emirates flights. Inside, they also find amazing world facts, creative crafts and more while they can record memorable moments along the way in their travel journal.

Inflight entertainment

Children’s faces turn into toothy grins with the dedicated children’s inflight entertainment through ice. Kids can pop on their brightly colored headphones and choose from a huge collection of Disney favourites, the latest kids TV shows and popular cartoons that feed their imagination.
They can also challenge themselves or their friends to more than 100 exciting inflight games on ice.
Parents can capture special moments with the onboard camera or ask from the Emirates crew to snap their picture that they can take home framed.

Nutrition

Young flyers between two and 12 years old love Emirates’ range of children’s favorites, as they get a snack box filled with treats to enjoy along the journey. If a child follows a special diet, the staff can be informed while booking and they will serve a meal that’s right for them. If a passenger prefers to bring his own meal, the cabin crew will help him with food and bottle warming.

Airport facilities & airline benefits

Emirates has special family check-in desks at Dubai International airport, making sure that families board first; the airline also offers the ability to check in online in advance, drop off bags up to 24 hours before the flight and pick up one of its complimentary strollers at Dubai International airport, while shopping for kids’ treats at Duty Free.

Additionally, children can sign up to be a Skywards Skysurfer and enjoy benefits of the Emirates Skywards frequent flyer programme. Young adventurers earn Skywards Miles as they fly. These can be spent on great rewards, like free flights, Apple iPods and free trips to Wild Wadi Water Park in Dubai.

“The above are accompanied by the excellent inflight experience that the parents have; a unique combination that transforms the flights into the beginning of your relaxation & trip,” says Emirates.
