Hotelising Shares Expertise on Hospitality at ‘100% Hotel Show 2019’
Greek hotel sales management company Hotelising recently shared its know-how with tourism professionals and Greek hoteliers during the 100% Hotel Show 2019.
A leading annual event addressed especially to hoteliers, the 100% Hotel Show took place in Athens during November 15-18.
“We were delighted to participate in the 100% Hotel Show, which has evolved into a significant annual event for the hospitality industry,” said Hotelising Founder Katerina Petropoulou.
Hotelising’s executives shared the central stage of 100% Hotel Show with leading hospitality enterprises during a workshop titled, “New markets for Greek hotels”.
“The discussion attracted the interest of visitors who were keen to learn more on the latest developments in the hospitality industry after the collapse of Thomas Cook. Meanwhile, hoteliers appear interested in expanding to new markets and seek ways to become less dependent on tour operators and online travel agents,” she added.
The workshop offered an analysis on the ways hoteliers can increase their market share through sales strategy, as well as claim a share in new markets, beyond the geographic segmentation.
It also focused on the current trends and opportunities of thematic tourism in Greece, while it offered examples of websites that focus on niche markets and promote hotels to targeted audiences.
Furthermore, participants presented good practices for effective sales through individual channels and spoke of the necessity of B2B bookings.
Established in 2012, Hotelising focuses exclusively on hotel sales management, supporting hoteliers in their efforts to increase profits by gradually reducing commissions to OTA’s.
Since 2014, Hotelising has been working with Lamway Hotel Management Group, managing the sales of hotels belonging to Lamway’s portfolio, also focusing on increasing hotels’ profitability and brand awareness.
