Atlantica Amalthia Beach Hotel to Open in Summer 2020 for Adults Only

The four-star Atlantica Amalthia Beach Hotel in Chania, Crete, this winter will undergo an extension and a mild renovation worth six million euros, according to Atlantica Hotels & Resorts which has undertaken its management as of November 1.

Located in Agia Marina of Chania, the Atlantica Amalthia Beach Hotel will open in summer 2020 as an adults-only resort with a total of 129 newly designed guest rooms, 61 of which will be added during the extension.

The hotel’s extension and renovation will include double rooms and suites, all of which will have a private terrace or a balcony, with views to the sea, the pools and the gardens.

The Atlantica Amalthia Beach Hotel will offer four different food & beverage outlets. In terms of amenities, the hotel will include three outdoor swimming pools, two Jacuzzis, fitness room and spa.

Works at the hotel will be guided and supervised by the team of Melakis & Associates SA Construction Company.

Atlantica Amalthia Beach Hotel derives from the synergy of two historic companies: Atlantica Hotels & Resorts and Amalthia Beach Resort, a seaside hotel with a 35-year successful history.
