The Galaxy Bar & Restaurant, located on the top floor of the Hilton Athens hotel, this autumn is inviting all to taste its new menu offers and experience its cozy atmosphere and breathtaking views of the Acropolis, Lycabettus hill and the streets of the Greek capital.
“Curated by Hilton Athens executive chef Kostas Athanasiou and Galaxy chef Giorgos Kaperdas, the new menu has a cosmopolitan, multi-sided character,” the hotel’s management said in an announcement.
The appetizers on the new menu offer a refined version of comfort food recipes and include the pumpkin soup with autumn truffle and pasteli; the potato and leek cream with shrimp, quail eggs and caviar; the beef tartar with smoked egg cream, mushroom paté and chili pepper crackers; and the fine fish tartar with kataifi dough served with orange cream and yogurt mousse.
Many healthy options are included on the menu such as the broccoli salad with amaranth leaves, watercress and vegan mayonnaise with truffle, and the beetroot salad with kale, pomegranate and tahini dressing.
In addition, many interesting vegan options are included in the main courses such as the variety of roasted cauliflower with beetroot cream and peanut butter or the vegetable briam with smoked eggplant cream and Florina pepper dressing.
Meanwhile, meat lovers have not been forgotten as they will find unique dishes and flavors, among them the deer fillet with celery root terrine and Greek coffee sauce, and the lamb picanha with crunchy sweetbreads and carrot puree.
At Galaxy Restaurant, fresh fish is served with greens and egg-lemon sauce, while the menu also features the yellow belly rockcod stifado with onions, mashed potatoes and seaweed chips.
Sushi at Galaxy is also an ideal choice for a starter of main course. Discover new flavors such as the sea bass ceviche roll with chili pepper or the scallop tobiko roll with lime.
