Ethiopian Airlines to Resume Flights to Athens After 18 Years

Ethiopian Airlines (Ethiopian), the fastest growing airline in Africa, after 18 years will resume thrice weekly service to the city of Athens in Greece.

Athens will be the Ethiopian’s 17th destination in Europe, an announcement said.

Effective December 13, Ethiopian’s flight ET760 will depart from Addis Ababa at 11.45pm on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays to arrive in Athens at 3.45am the next day.

The return flight ET761 will depart from Athens on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays at 10.20pm to arrive in Addis Ababa at 6.35am the next day.

A Skytrax certified four-star global airline, Ethiopian operates the youngest and most modern fleet to more than 120 international passenger and cargo destinations across five continents. Ethiopian fleet includes ultra-modern and environmentally friendly aircraft such as Airbus A350, Boeing 787-8, Boeing 787-9, Boeing 777-300ER, Boeing 777-200LR, Boeing 777-200 Freighter, Bombardier Q-400 double cabin with an average fleet age of five years.

Ethiopian is a multi-award-winning airline registering an average growth of 25% in the past eight years.
