‘Santo Maris’ on Santorini to Host One-off Cocktail Extravaganza

Two of the world’s best bars will join forces for a Mediterranean gin meet up at the Santo Maria hotel on Santorini!

The five-star Santo Maris Oia Luxury Suites & Spa on Santorini will host a unique cocktail event on September 19, promising to offer a journey of flavors in combination with the island’s stunning sunset.

Two of the world’s best mixologists from award-winning bars – Nikos Bakoulis from The Clumsies in Athens and France Rainteau from the Candelaria in Paris – will be brought together for a one-off cocktail extravaganza at the boutique hotel, which overlooks the Aegean Sea. The Clumsies bar was recently voted 7th in the “World’s 50 Best Bars” Awards and the Paris-based Candelaria bar was voted 47th on the same awards list.

Nikos and France will be behind the infinity poolside bar at Santo Maris to create four signature cocktails inspired by the iconic Santorini sunset and based around the Mediterranean concept of the premium “Mataroa Mediterranean Dry Gin”.

The upscale event, which will promote the Greek version of cocktailing, will also feature foodpairing suggestions, prepared especially for the occasion by the award-winning team of Santo Maris’ Alios Ilios restaurant, which aims to offer an unforgettable fine-dining experience.
