Athens International Airport (AIA) will be hosting its 4th annual Plane Pull fundraiser on September 18, as part of its corporate social responsibility program with proceeds going towards the needs of the non-profit child welfare organization, the Smile of the Child (Hamogelo tou Paidiou).
Companies are invited to participate with a 25- to 30-member team in the challenge, which will take place at AIA from 10am to 3pm and involves pulling a 35,000kg Air Mediterranean Boeing 737-400 jet for a distance of 20 meters.
The cost of company participation has been set at 3,000 euros with the goal to contribute to the Smile of Child welfare activities for hundreds of children in need.
Aiming to support the good cause, the Greek Tourism Confederation (SETE) is calling on all its members to get involved, set up their own company team or entering the SETE – INSETE – Marketing Greece team.
