Flamenco artists living Greece and popular musicians from Spain will gather in Athens on September 10 for the “Hola” Flamenco Festival 2019.
Held for the third consecutive year in the Greek capital, the festival will host 30 flamenco dancers from Greece, 12 musicians, two bands of traditional and electro jazz music, as well as popular Spanish artists.
Furthermore, the festival will host dancers and dance studios Fani Demestiha, Taconeo, Rueda, Dimitra Kaskani, La Arrachi Cali and many others.
“The Hola Flamenco Festival is a celebration full of surprises, aiming to bring the atmosphere of a ‘noche blanca’ (white night) to Athens, which is similar to the nights of the Cordova flamenco festivals held in Andalucia,” an announcement said.
The festival will also include a market with flamenco clothing, shoes and accessories, and gastronomy surprises.
