The G & A Mamidakis Foundation, on July 13-14, will hold the second edition of the “blueFest Crete 19 | Culture & Beyond”, a two-day festival that aims to promote Greece’s cultural heritage and the works of Greek artists.

The event will be held at the Minos Beach art hotel, a member of bluegr Hotels & Resorts, located in Agios Nikolaos on the island of Crete.

“The festival features art and gastronomy events in one of the most beautiful areas of Crete,” the foundation said in an announcement.

The first day of “blueFest Crete 19” is dedicated to art and includes the opening of an art exhibition titled, “Come with the wind”, featuring an installation by artist Theodoros Zafeiropoulos and architect Giorgos Rimenidis.

Combining sculpture with sound, the installation refers to the “Tower of the Winds”, the ancient octagonal Pentelic marble clocktower located in the Roman Agora in Plaka, Athens.
