Athina Luxury Suites: New Upscale Rooms, Infinity Pool Promise Unique Holidays on Santorini

Athina Luxury Suites

The Athina Luxury Suites boutique hotel is welcoming summer guests to its fully renovated rooms and public spaces, which have been designed to offer unforgettable summer experiences on the island of Santorini.

The renovation project, worth some 800,000 euros, includes five brand new suites of minimal yet luxury design combining traditional and eco-friendly materials, a new infinity pool with a bar, a new restaurant area, and a unique new venue for wedding ceremonies and private dinners.

The hotel’s Esperisma Bar-Restaurant has also been refurbished to offer more space on the terrace.

Operating all day long offering breakfast, lunch and dinner, the restaurant presents a new menu with exquisite tastes and local fresh products.

Furthermore, the outdoor bar features a unique new cocktail menu curated by bar councilor and mixologist Panagiotis Papavramopoulos that aims to satisfy all guests.

New infinity pool

Meanwhile, the hotel’s new infinity heated swimming pool, situated right on the cliff, has been built from scratch to offer additional space and the first swim-up bar overlooking the Santorini caldera.

According to the hotel’s owners and managers, Panagiotis Iglesis and Artemis Argirou, the hotel guests are enjoying the pool very much and are spending more time in the water, indulging in drinks, snacks and the stunning caldera view.

The idea for the new pool came about during one of their travels to Dubai.

“We wanted to explore Dubai but ended up spending four days in the resort’s pool. We had so much fun and instantly came up with the idea to create a similar pool and bar on the Santorini caldera exclusively for our guests,” Panagiotis Iglesis told GTP Headlines.

A ‘home away from home’

The philosophy of Athina Luxury Suites is to become a “home away from home” for Santorini’s visitors.

“Our guests are like family to us…. We have many repeat visitors, who this year show that they are enjoying all the upgrades and changes we have made. Our stable pricing policy also helps visitors return to Santorini,” Artemis Argirou underlined.

Meanwhile, island professionals claim that the 2019 tourism season is appearing to be more difficult for Santorini compared to 2018, as travelers are showing a tendency to stay on the island for a shorter period and also seem skeptical about the prices.

The owners of Athina Luxury Suites highlighted that in order to keep the strong momentum, tourism professionals on Santorini should upgrade their products, provide top quality services, pursue quality management and maintain a stable pricing policy.

Located in Fira, Athina Luxury Suites operates on a seasonal basis and will remain open until November 30.
