The Fresh Hotel Athens recently unveiled its renovated rooms, aiming to offer authentic hospitality experiences right in the center of Athens and connect its guests with the city and its residents.

Operating since 2004, the hotel is housed in a building of the 1970s that has been redesigned with clean lines, vivid colors, high-quality materials and design furniture.

The rooms of the Fresh Hotel Athens were recently renovated by Italian designer Paola Navone, who made sure to creatively combine the double identity of Athens – as an attractive Mediterranean destination and a dynamic European capital – to meet the demands of the modern younger travelers.

For the revamp of the hotel’s 133 rooms, inspiration was drawn from the Mediterranean character of Athens and its urban landscape. Using cool colors and contemporary features, each room is decorated with minimal geometric motifs that resemble rounded pebbles or the paved streets of Plaka or the capital’s square building blocks.

The frescoes are reflected in large irregular mirrors, while each room features floor standing lamps with Gervasoni knitted lamp shades.

Moreover, the furniture and floors are colored in grey and white tones, combined with curtains and textiles in earthy hues and soft textures.

The rooms’ palette has been carefully selected to match the colors of the exterior distinctive glass partitions, which offer a pop aesthetics to the hotel’s façade.

Under the motto ‘Stay Happy, Stay Connected, Stay Fresh’, the bright colorful hotel on Sofokleous street aims to be a hip destination for Athenians and visitors, offering top notch services and pleasant experiences to its guests.

In 2009, Fresh Hotel Athens was awarded as the Best Boutique Hotel by the Greek edition of Condé Nast Traveler, while in 2012 it topped TripAdvisor’s list of the Trendiest Hotels in Greece.
