Mideast Travel Applauded as Leading DMC in Europe and Greece at WTA 2019

Mideast Travel Worldwide has been announced Europe’s Leading Destination Management Company for the second consecutive year at the World Travel Awards (WTA) that took place recently for the 26th year.

The company was also honored for the fifth time as Greece’s Leading Destination Management Company (for 2019).

Mideast Travel’s managing director, Katerina Mousbeh, and general manager, Maria Mousbeh, received the two awards during the WTA Europe Gala Ceremony that was held recently in Madeira, Portugal.

“It is a great honor and joy to be honored at the WTA and again be at the top in Greece and Europe. These accolades reward and recognize the continuous efforts of our team, as well as our commitment to offer services that exceed our customers’ expectations… We thank you from the bottom of our heart for the trust and support for more than 35 years,” Katerina Mousbeh said.

In 2018 Mideast had also been announced “World’s Leading Destination Management Company (DMC)” at the WTA Grand Final.

Established in 1983, Mideast Travel Worldwide is among the top travel providers in Greece. The company offers its services worldwide from its head office in Athens as well as from its branches in Istanbul and on Mykonos.

Hailed as the “Oscars”of the global tourism industry, the World Travel Awards aims to award excellence in the tourism sector. The Europe event was attended by the “crème de la crème” of the global tourism industry and journalists from all over the world.
