‘Mythos by Divani’ Restaurant Opens for Summer on Athens Riviera

The Mythos by Divani restaurant of the Divani Apollon Palace & Thalasso hotel has opened its doors for the summer season and is inviting guests to dine in luxury on the Athenian Riviera.

Located in the bay of Kavouri, only 20 minutes from the center of Athens, the restaurant is considered “the ideal place to escape from the daily routine with a Mediterranean menu based on sea treasures,” the hotel’s management said in an announcement.

“A renewed version of the restaurant’s much-loved recipes has been prepared by executive chef Leonidas Fortsetsanakis, who is offering his perception of cosmopolitan Mediterranean cuisine, for a different fine dining experience near the waves, with light music, under the bright summer moon.”

Greek food lovers can start with a Greek salad with cherry tomatoes, cucumber, green peppers, Kalamata olives, feta cheese, samphire and carob rusks or with the king crab green salad which includes avocado, cucumber and olive oil lemon sauce with mustard.

The “Greek Bites” are also served before the main courses and include fish roe mousse with crushed botarga and fried onion chips, and spanakopita spring rolls among many others.

Meanwhile, fresh fish remains at the epicenter of an impressive dinner at Mythos by Divani. The restaurant’s fish and seafood recipes are now combined with new ingredients. Among its options are the red mullet marinated in citrus juice and lime cream and the shrimp civiche with coriander, chili and avocado.

Those who prefer meat can chose between a chateaubriand, a black angus rib eye steak or a cordon bleu.

For a sweet end, try a delicious dessert such as the lemon tart on crispy chocolate biscuit and fresh Italian meringue or the traditional lokma fried dough (or loukoumades in Greek) with honey and vanilla ice cream.

Apart from unique gastronomy experiences, Mythos by Divani is also offering stunning sunset views from its veranda right on the Saronic Gulf.

The restaurant is located within the premises of the Divani Apollon Palace & Thalasso, a member of the Divani Collection Hotels, which also features hotel units in Athens, Larissa, Meteora and Corfu.
