Creta Maris Beach Resort Presents Brand New Water Park on Crete

Aiming to further improve its hospitality services and offer unique family experiences, the Creta Maris Beach Resort, recently opened a new ultra-modern water park at its premises in Hersonissos on the island of Crete.

The park’s grand opening took place on May 15 during a ceremony which was hosted by the “Pirates of the Water Park”, in the presence of the hotel’s management, guests, tour operators, as well as Creta Maris’ online friends, who watched the event through 360° live streaming cameras, on the resort’s social media.

The 4,000sq.m. water park offers a wide range of exciting games for the whole family, while also applying the latest safety standards.

“The water park includes an especially designed area – supervised by trained personnel – where kids can find exciting games, make new friends, laugh their hearts out and enjoy their vacation,” the hotel’s management said in an announcement.

“Five top-of-the-range water slides, which fulfill all safety standards, a huge swimming pool and the park’s adventure towers, create a magic scenery for children and adults, offering unforgettable experiences for this summer.”

Creta Maris’ water park also includes an especially designed comfortable seating area and a bar, where guests can relax, while the children play.

Apart from the brand new water park, the resort offers a wide range of facilities and services for the whole family: The “Cine Creta Maris” open-air cinema; six swimming pools for children; the impressive “Asterias” Children’s Club; the Teenagers’ Club; a baby room with toys; an outdoor playground; a disco; tennis courts; and facilities for babies.

Furthermore, Creta Maris offers 680 rooms, suites and bungalows. The hotel is a member of the Metaxa Hospitality Group.
