Greece Welcomes Italian Journalists, Bloggers
Journalists and bloggers from Italy are currently in Greece to explore the country’s tourism offerings, as part of a press trip organized by the Italian office of the Greek National Tourism Organization (GNTO).
According to an announcement, Italian journalists Sandra Longinotti and Barbara Santoro are currently in Athens to gather information and promote the city as a modern European gastronomy capital.
Journalist and food blogger Elena Blanco has traveled to Corfu to attend the 2nd Corfu Food & Wine Festival, which is taking place between May 8-12. Blanco aims to learn more on Corfu’s local traditions and gastronomy wealth and promote the island to Italian travelers.
In addition, journalists Michele Suraci, Ilaria Santi, Corinna Agostoni, Emanuela de Santis, Tommaso Pini and Rafaella Cegna will soon visit Andros and focus on the alternative tourism experiences offered on the island.
“These actions are part of the Tourism Ministry’s strategy, which is implemented by GNTO globally, aiming to promote special forms of tourism and extend the tourism season to 365 days a year,” the GNTO said in an announcement.
