Greece’s Sani Dunes Named Best Hospitality Design Hotel by ‘Connoisseur Circle’
Greece’s five-star Sani Dunes, of the Sani Resort group, has been announced “Best Hospitality Design Hotel” for a second year in a row at the Connoisseur Circle Hospitality Awards 2019.
The awards was organized by Connoisseur Circle, one of Germany’s leading travel magazines, with the aim to recognize excellence in the hospitality industry.
The Sani Dunes opened its doors in summer 2017, in the area of Kassandra in the Halkidiki peninsula, northern Greece. It includes 136 rooms and suites, three restaurants and the state of the art D Spa. According to Sani Resort, Sani Dunes has the largest outdoor pool in Greece.
Sani Dunes received the Connoisseur Circle award during a ceremony held on the sidelines of the ITB Berlin 2019 travel show in Germany, in the presence of more than 400 senior tourism executives from all over the world.
“Sani Resort was recognized for the unique, especially designed products and services it offers to its guests who choose it as their holiday destination,” the resort’s management said in an announcement.
The Greek resort was chosen among many prominent nominees from a team of experts –the 16-member judging committee of the Independent Travel Board Connoisseur – which consisted of media representatives, travelers and tourism professionals.
“Sani Resort’s recognition for a second consecutive year promotes the modern face of Greek tourism. The resort has managed to attract the most demanding travelers, who wish to live the most unique experiences,” the announcement said.
The architectural study and interior design of Sani Dunes was carried out by Nimand Architects of Niki Manou-Andreadi.
