India-based airline, Vistara, has appointed Asian Aviation as its General Sales Agent (GSA) in Greece and Cyprus.

Vistara is a joint venture of Singapore Airlines (SIA) and Tata Sons and started its operations in 2015 with a maiden flight from Delhi to Mumbai.

In a short period of time, Vistara has rapidly expanded its footprint, both in terms of network and service proposition. The carrier now serves 23 destinations with over 730 flights a week, with a fleet of 20 Airbus A320 aircraft.

Apart from connecting destinations across India, the airline plans to soon expand its services to international destinations, an announcement said.

Asian Aviation was founded in June 2013 and today is the GSA for the products and services of Singapore Airlines, Singapore Airlines Cargo, Scoot, United Cargo as well as Tradewinds / SIA Holidays in Greece, Cyprus and Albania.
