The vessels of Greek passenger shipping company Minoan Lines will temporarily sail to Crete from a different pier at Piraeus Port due to restoration works carried out by the Piraeus Port Authority S.A., an announcement on Thursday said.

From Friday, March 1, the company’s vessels will change their position from the pier anchorage area at Akti Ietionos, Gate Ε2, and operate from the one located at Akti Vasileiadi, Gate Ε2 (behind the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Insular Policy).

Minoan’s vessels will temporarily use the pier at Akti Vasileiadi to operate their scheduled itineraries from Piraeus to the ports of Heraklion and Chania.

For information on itineraries modifications, passengers are advised to contact their travel agent or Minoan Lines central agencies.
