The Greek city of Heraklion on Crete will be one of the new destinations of Air France for the upcoming peak summer season, in July and August.

This will be the first time Air France will operate flights to Heraklion on departure from Paris-Charles de Gaulle.

Heraklion-Paris flights will begin on July 17 and operate three times a week. The Heraklion-Paris flights will be operated by Airbus A319 and run until September 1

“Heraklion is the ideal starting point to explore Crete. Respectively, island residents will have the opportunity to visit the French capital with direct flights and discover the romantic corners, gastronomy and culture that the city offers,” the airline said in an announcement.

Moreover, in July and August, Air France will also be operating flights – for the first time – to Palermo (Sicily, Italy), Olbia (Sardinia, Italy) and Split (Croatia) from Paris. It is noted that Olbia-Paris flights will be operated by HOP! Air France.

The airline also announced that it is extending and intensifying the frequency of its flights to Cagliari, Dubrovnik, Ibiza and Bari from Paris-Charles de Gaulle. In addition, these four destinations will be served every weekend during the 2019 summer season. It is noted that Cagliari-Paris flights will be operated by HOP! Air France.
