Asian Aviation Appoints New Sales Executive for SIA and Scoot

Asian Aviation, the exclusive General Sales Agent (GSA) of Singapore Airlines (SIA) and Scoot in Greece, has appointed Ioanna Nomidou to the position of Sales Executive for the two airlines.

As a Sales Executive for Singapore Airlines and Scoot, Ioanna will contribute to Asian Aviation’s team efforts by accomplishing results as needed while being responsible to promote both airlines to the Greek market. She will also reach and analyze new sales opportunities and maintain relationships with existing clients by providing support and guidance.

Before joining Asian Aviation, for the past two years Ioanna was the sales executive for Virgin Atlantic Airways at Discover the World Greece, a leading company in global travel services and distribution.

“I would like to sincerely thank Dino Frantzeskakis and the whole team of Discover the World for the support and opportunities that have provided me and even though I will miss Discover, I am looking forward to my new role at Singapore Airlines/Scoot,” Ioanna told GTP Headlines.

“It will be a challenge for me, as Singapore Airlines is one of the biggest airlines in the world but I am very grateful for this huge opportunity Takis Dimitriou has given me,” she added.

Ioanna graduated from Athens University of Economics and Business from the Department of Management and Science Technology in 2016 and she spent a semester in Spain working at the University of Seville as an International Relations Officer.

Asian Aviation was founded in June 2013 and today is the GSA for the products and services of Singapore Airlines, Singapore Airlines Cargo, Scoot, United Cargo as well as Tradewinds / SIA Holidays in Greece, Cyprus and Albania.
