The Tinos Challenge 2018 running event will be held during December 1-2, with the participation of professional and amateur athletes.
A part of the Cyclades Trail Cup 2018, the Tinos Challenge running event is the last of six races held on six islands – Kimolos, Folegandros, Ios, Andros and Kythnos. It consists of three races, passing through the island’s stone and marble trails, and 15 traditional villages of a total of 62, providing athletes with the opportunity to admire the architectural elements of Tinos’ watermills, stone arch bridges and traditional houses.
The Tinos Challenge also highlights the island’s culture by combining sports with gastronomy events.
All participants are entitled to a 30 percent discount on ferry tickets and accommodation in partner hotels, as well as reduced prices for renting a car or motorcycle.
Furthermore, travelers coming from abroad can book a free seat on the buses of Tinos Challenge traveling from Athens to the port of Rafina, and from the port of Tinos to the starting point of the race.
The athlete’s full package includes a polyester T-shirt, the medal and a number of gifts.
Registrations after November 22, can only be made at the reception desk of Tinos Challenge at the Monastery of the Holy Heart, on Saturday December 1, between 10am and 3pm. For more information press here.
