Besides the 25km main run, which will kick off from Petra through Ligona to Petri across footpaths and dirt roads, the two-day sporting event will also include the 6km Molyvos Night Run on Saturday, October 6, taking runners through the town’s medieval paths.

In its 3rd year, the Lesvos Trail attracted dozens of athletes from Greece and abroad and aims to showcase the island’s landscape while offering healthy fun for the whole family: the 7km Lesvos Family Run, for the more demanding the 13km Lesvos Running event and Lesvos Kids for the youngsters.

For those who prefer walking, the 6km Lesvos Walk is a great chance to enjoy the island’s beauty.

The 3rd Lesvos Trail is organized by the Molyvos Tourism Association – The Other Aegean under the auspices of the North Aegean Region, the Lesvos Chamber and the Lesvos Local Development Company.

To register go here.

As the official sponsor for the event, ferry operator Hellenic Seaways will offer a 50 percent discount on ferry fares for participants wishing to travel to Lesvos for the event.
