Thessaloniki Gearing Up for MCE South Europe 2018 Forum

Leading corporate, agency and association event planners are making their way to Thessaloniki, the co-capital of Greece, to attend the 4th MCE South Europe 2018 forum, a highly respected and important event in the MICE tourism industry.

Organized by Europe Congress, the forum will run between October 21-23 at the luxury Makedonia Palace, flagship hotel of Thessaloniki.

With still few places left to participate, Europe Congress says that it is getting ready to deliver what is to be the highlight of 2018.

“There under the view of the house of gods, Mount Olympus, these European, Asian and American hosted buyers are meeting up face to face with destinations and suppliers making its way to Greece’s culinary paradise, Thessaloniki,” the organizer said in an announcement.

During the forum, industry suppliers will have the chance to participate in pre-scheduled and matchmade meetings with event planners.

“The concept assures that everyone walks away with having met exactly the people they wanted to meet with for any upcoming business venture,” Europe Congress said.

The forum program will also consist of speed presentations by participating destinations highlighting unique selling proposition (USP’s), keynotes by Meetology Lab expert Jonathan Bradshaw, luncheons, coffee breaks and an evening program.

“We have been cooperating with the local convention bureau and the host venue intensively to assure the highest standards, the most comfortable settings and a fantastic experience for all participants. All with the goal to create new business cooperations and the satisfaction of the attendees,” Europe Congress Managing Director Alain Pallas said.

The Thessaloniki Convention Bureau (TCB) is sponsoring both the Sunday and Monday evening programs, which will include local entertainment and the culinary delights that Thessaloniki is so famous for.

The forum’s day programs, including the Sunday welcome cocktail reception, will take place at the Makedonia Palace, the forum’s host venue. Recently renovated and re-styled, the property offers spacious guest rooms, sea views and top notch meeting facilities.

“The Europe Congress team is looking forward delivering the show in just a month’s time in the amazing event destination of Thessaloniki,” Pallas added.
