The Athens-Attica & Argosaronic Hotel Association continues its long partnership with Greek digital marketing agency Nelios and has assigned the company with the upgrade of its website.
According to Nelios’ executives, the new website will offer a wealth of useful information for travelers and the association’s members.
“The website’s new version has a responsive design which means that its content can also be displayed on mobile phones and tablet devices,” Nelios CEO Dimitris Serifis told reporters on Thursday, during the association’s 48th General Assembly.
Furthermore, Nelios has analyzed the data of the current website in order to enhance the experience of users by putting emphasis on the features and information that mostly attract their interest. As a result the website has become more interactive and easier to use.
Among the main features for travelers are an interactive map offering information on sites, restaurants and hotels; a calendar of events, which is constantly being updated and presents the cultural activities that take place in the area on daily, weekly and monthly basis, as well as useful information on the things a visitor can do and see in one, three, five or seven days.
Furthermore, Nelios has designed new tools for the association’s members including an innovative application allowing MICE professionals and visitors to check for venue availability in Athens’ hotels. “This new app is a valuable tool, which will create incentives for the increase of arrivals,” Serifis said.
Nelios and the Association have been collaborating since 2011, when the company first designed and presented the website. The new version will go live in the coming days.
Founded a decade ago, Nelios has evolved into a frontrunner in digital marketing solutions aimed at tourism enterprises, working with hotels, tour operators, car rental, yachting and cruise companies.
