Travel Trade Athens 2018 – Early Bird Offer Ends July 31

The Athens Convention and Visitors Bureau (ACVB) recently announced that it has extended the deadline for the early bird registration for the Travel Trade Athens 2018 event, scheduled to take place in the Greek capital between October 8-9.

The closing date for entries to Travel Trade Athens 2018 is July 31.

In its sixth year, the Athens Municipality’s signature annual event will take place at the Hotel Grande Bretagne and host a number of selected international buyers, who focus on Greece and Athens in particular.

Travel Trade Athens offers Greek tourism professionals the opportunity to develop first-hand business relationships with 100 selected MICE, corporate and leisure buyers from across the globe.  With over 12,000 B2B pre-scheduled meetings in the past five years, the event has attracted more than 420 selected hosted buyers from 35 countries representing Europe, USA, Asia, Australia and other strategic markets.

“The City of Athens aims to promote the Greek capital as an ideal MICE and city break destination throughout the year. The three awards Athens received during the recent World Travel Awards Europe Gala Ceremony 2018 mark these efforts,” the ACVB said in an announcement.

During the recent WTA 2018, Athens was named Europe’s Leading City Break Destination for 2018, while the Acropolis was honored as Europe’s Leading Tourist Attraction for 2018. Furthermore, ACVB was announced Europe’s Leading City Tourist Board 2018.
