Xenia 2018 to Host Hotel Megatrends Event in November

Prominent personalities of the tourism industry from Greece and abroad will gather in Athens to participate the “Hotel Megatrends/Talks” innovative event, scheduled to take place in November during the Xenia 2018 hospitality show.

The Hotel Megatrends/Talks event will be held during Xenia 2018, in Hall 1 of the Metropolitan Expo, in a specially designed open air space and will include speeches and special presentations by tourism experts. Organized by Forum S.A., the Xenia hospitality show will take place during November 24-26.

“Hotel Megatrends/Talks aims is to serve as a ‘hospitality think tank’ and present experiences, views and ideas that will significantly affect the future of the tourism industry, and contribute to the creative development of the Greek tourist product,” an announcement said.

During the event, exhibition visitors will have the opportunity to gain insight on a number of issues from hospitality experts. Guests will also have the chance to tour around the Hotel Megatrends’ specially designed installation.

The sessions of the event will focus on the new trends, innovations and educational programs for tourism professionals:

  • Hospitality Design Trends: The way modern architecture, decoration and design trends affect the future of hotels and tourist accommodation.
  • Hospitality Technology Trends: The technology trends that should be adopted by tourism industry professionals.
  • Hospitality Wellbeing Trends: The international wellbeing practices as a tool to improve the customer experience.
  • Hospitality Investment Trends: Investment trends in the Mediterranean tourism markets and ways to spur investment activity in Greece.
