Sabre Connects Hoteliers and Tour Operators on SynXis Enterprise Platform
Sabre Corporation, a leading technology provider to the global travel industry, has announced the launch of the SynXis Tour Manager, a solution which aims to help hoteliers seamlessly manage distribution to tour operators and destination management companies.
According to an announcement, through the SynXis Enterprise Platform, hoteliers can now automate and better integrate this channel within their broader distribution strategy and process.
Hotel distribution through tour operators is particularly important for hotels in tourist destinations, especially in the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and South America regions. According to SynXis Central Reservations production data, some brands see over 20 percent of their revenue coming from this segment. However, most hotels’ current operating model with tour operators is time consuming, manual and expensive.

In turn, hoteliers can increase revenue by dynamically yielding rates for the tour operators and eliminating static rates, inventory blocks and time-consuming email/fax-based confirmations with a unique two-way integration to tour operators.
