Santo Maris Announced ‘Greece’s Leading Island Villas’ at WTA 2018
The Santo Maris Oia Luxury Suites & Spa, located on Santorini, was announced “Greece’s Leading Island Villas” for 2018 at the prestigious World Travel Awards (WTA).
The WTA Europe Gala ceremony was recently held in Athens, to present the very best of the European tourism industry. The votes came from qualified executives working within travel and tourism and the consumer travel buyer.
Since its first years of its operation, Santo Maris, has managed to receive several significant distinctions on a local and international level, for its high-end hospitality services and unique concept.
The genuine and personalized hospitality philosophy is evident in the daily operations of the hotel’s staff.

Santo Maris is the newest addition to the portfolio of Metaxas Group of Companies, which has been operating in the tourism sector since 1975. The hotel opened its doors in 2016 and includes 57 suites and villas; five outdoor swimming pools, an award-winning 300-square-meter Spa with and an indoor swimming pool, and the Alios Ilios fine dining restaurant.
