Mythos by Divani: ‘MasterChef’ Recipes on Athenian Riviera
The Divani Apollon Palace & Thalasso hotel, located on the Athenian Riviera, is inviting guests to dine in luxury at its Mythos by Divani restaurant, which has opened its doors for the summer season.
Offering a stunning view of the Saronic Gulf and unique flavors, the Divani Apollon this year has added chef Savvas Lichanidis, a former “Masterchef” TV show contestant to its Mythos by Divani team.
“The popular TV contestant was a member of the Divani Caravel gastronomy team before entering the contest, and is now getting ready to impress the guests of Mythos by Divani with his skills,” the hotel’s management said in an announcement.
Due to its unique location on Kavouri beach and its distinctive gastronomic identity, the restaurant has become a favorite spot for a fine casual dinner, the new trend which combines the speed and convenience of fast-casual with a chef-driven menu.
A menu of “sea treasures”
The restaurant’s menu consists of “sea treasures” and unique recipes such as the Kakavia fish soup – a specialty from the Dodecanese islands – and the carpaccio sea bass marinated in citrus juice, chili and coriander.
Asian cuisine lovers are advised to try the steam dumplings with seafood, soy sauce and ginger for starter.
The restaurant’s salads are colorful creations, with the salad with shrimp, quinoa, mangoes, strawberries, chili, avocado and peppers standing out.
Τhose who prefer pasta or risotto are advised to try the barley with shrimp cooked in bouillabaisse soup.
While fresh fish tops the suggested dishes, the menu also includes unique meat recipes, such as the Black Angus burger with black truffles.
For a sweet end try a delicious dessert, such as the chocolate ball with Azelia mousse on a chocolate cake.
The recently renovated Divani Apollon Palace & Thalasso is a member of the Leading Hotels of the World and offers a wide range of facilities and services in an impressive location. The Divani group includes seven hotel units in Athens, Larissa, Meteora and Corfu.
