Royal Caribbean Returns to Arabian Gulf with New Cruises for Winter 2019-20

After a two-year break, Royal Caribbean International in December 2019 will return to the Arabian Gulf to operate sailings from the port of Dubai with its Jewel of the Seas cruise ship.

The cruise company will offer two different seven-day cruises in the Arabian Gulf starting December 2019 until March 2020. For the first time the company’s itineraries will include home calls at Sir Bani Yas in the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain.

In addition, the Jewel of the Seas will be repositioning from Rome, the ship’s Mediterranean home for 10 years, to Dubai on a 16-night Suez Canal cruise from November 30 to December 16, 2019.

Once in the Middle East, the new itineraries will provide guests with the opportunity to discover the area’s  sites and monuments. The first of the sailings will call at Khasab (Oman), Sir Bani Yas (UAE) and Abu Dhabi, and the second at Bahrain, Doha (Qatar), Sir Bani Yas (UAE) and Abu Dhabi.
