The Greek capital is preparing to host the IMTJ Medical Travel Summit 2018 between May 21 and 24 at the five-star Wyndham Grand Athens hotel.
Organized by LaingBuisson International, publishers of the International Medical Travel Journal (IMTJ), Argo Travel and Greece’s medical tourism council Elitour, the summit is a high level event aimed at key decision makers involved in the medical tourism and international patient market.
The event will host top speakers from all over the world, who will share the latest developments and challenges in the field of medical tourism and provide attendees with the necessary information to further develop their skills.
“We create and further enhance the conditions for the development of medical tourism in Greece,” Elitour President George Patoulis said.
The IMTJ Medical Travel Summit has successfully taken place in Croatia, Spain and the UK during the last three years. According to the organizers, the summit’s content and topics will constitute an exceptional tool for medical tourism professionals, focusing on major issues concerning the market.
The event will also include the IMTJ Medical Travel Awards ceremony, which celebrate the success of the leading players in medical tourism. The awards ceremony and dinner will take place on the evening of May 23 (venue TBC).
B2B meetings will be held in the Networking Lounge, which is open to companies who wish to network during the course of the summit.
Moroever, the event will include the IMTJ Marketplace that provides the opportunity for professionals to showcase their services and meet new customers.
