Celestyal Wins Four Honors at 2018 Cruisers’ Choice Awards

Celestyal Cruises recently received four honors at the 2018 Cruisers’ Choice Awards, organized by Cruise Critic, the international cruise reviews site and online cruise community.

Held for the eighth year, the awards announced the most popular cruise ships of the year, based on consumer reviews shared on Cruise Critic over the past 12 months.

Celestyal Cruises won two first place awards for Shore Excursions and Value and two second place awards for Service and Entertainment, all in the mid-sized ships category.

“These awards prove that our passengers recognize the tireless effort we make to provide them with the industry’s best value-for-money cruises, and that they appreciate the unique shore excursions we offer in our magical destinations as part of our Celestyal Inclusive experience,” said Celestyal Cruises CEO Kyriakos Anastassiadis. “We pride ourselves on the authentic, lifetime experiences our passengers enjoy when they cruise with us,” he added.

Prior to the four distinctions Celestyal Cruises had won the 2017 Cruise Critic UK Editors’ Picks Award for Best Service.

Referring to the awards, Cruise Critic senior executive editor Colleen McDaniel said this year’s list of winners included a wide range of ships. “You have two of the largest ships at sea, alongside luxury yachts and small expedition ships that sail to some of the most far-flung destinations across the globe. As different as these ships are, the common thread is the exceptional ratings they received from actual guests,” he underlined.
