Spain’s Nautal Acquires Greek Yachting Startup ‘incrediblue’

Spanish intermediate charter agency Nautal has taken over Greek online yachting rental platform incrediblue, for an unrevealed sum.

The online platform, which was launched in 2015 after raising 1.8 million dollars led by Connect Ventures, with the participation of Seedcamp, Howzat Ventures, Firestartr, as well as existing investor Openfund, connects yacht owners directly with travelers interested in renting a yacht or motor boat.

Nautal is the one of the largest charter agencies in Europe and the biggest in Spain. According to the transaction terms, incrediblue will retain its brand name and will represent Nautal’s luxury boat section.

The move of the Greek start-up into Spanish hands ensures incrediblue’s funding and viability, while offering Nautal access into the highly lucrative Greek and Eastern Mediterranean market.

In the meantime, incrediblue’s logo and web page will be revamped and will be available in seven languages together with the launch of Nautal’s Greek page www.nautal.gr. incrediblue CEO and founder Antonios Fiorakis will join Nautal’s board of advisors.
