Ryanair Launches Connecting Flights to Europe via Porto Airport
Low-cost carrier Ryanair has launched connecting flights from Porto Airport to 20 European destinations, providing its customers with the opportunity to book and transfer directly onto connecting Ryanair flights.
Among the destinations served are Barcelona, Brussels, Düsseldorf, Madrid, Nuremburg and Lisbon.
“Our connecting service from Porto allows customers to book connecting Ryanair flights on the lowest fares,” said Kenny Jacobs, the company’s chief marketing officer. “Starting with an initial 20 new routes, customers will be able to transfer onto their next flight without having to go landside, and have their bags checked through to their final destination,” he added.
This service is the latest initiative delivered within the framework of Ryanair’s “Always Getting Better” program, which also includes a personalized Ryanair.com website, a new Ryanair Rooms website, a dedicated Chinese Ryanair website and a new partnership with the Erasmus Student Network, among other services.
In 2017, Ryanair launched connecting flights at Rome Fiumicino and Milan Bergamo airports.
