Thessaloniki Hoteliers Team Up with Taxiway to Facilitate Transport of Guests

The Thessaloniki Hotels Association is joining forces with local taxi company Taxiway to make it easier for guests to organize their transport, save time and reduce travel costs.

According to an announcement, Taxiway will provide the association’s hotels with iPad devices for the booking of taxi cabs on behalf of guests. Through special appointments, the new service will also provide guests with free transfers from Thessaloniki’s Macedonia Airport without extra charge.

Furthermore, through the service, hoteliers will be able to check taxi routes in case passengers file complaints.

In regards to the costs of routes for hotel customers, the indicative price of transport from the airport to the hotel is at 19 euros; from the train station is at 6 euros and from the local intercity bus station (KTEL) is at 6,50 euros.

Taxiway also provides round trip transport services from Thessaloniki to nearby destinations such as Vergina, Halkidiki and Edessa at discounted prices. Additional services may include transfer in a nine-seat minibus, suitable for small groups or families.
